HR MANAGER

As the first HR hire, we are looking for an individual that will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, ensuring ongoing legal compliance and implementation of the organization's missing and talent strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting and retention.
- Plan, lead, develop, coordinate and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives and more to establish and ongoing maintenance of the HR compliance and strategy needs.
- Administer and oversee the administration of human resource program incl, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, ad morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Develops and implements departmental budget.
- Perform other duties as required.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors in HR or related field (furthered education preferred but not required)
- At least 5+yrs in HR Management experience
- Prior experience working in a start-up, rapid growth environment, assisting the team transition from small organization into mid/large.
- Renewable Energy background is highly desirable.
- Experience working with global entities
